It is a
Gift to be the Instrument of a Miracle
Once upon a time a 10-year-old Indian Princess was always heard singing, now at 11 yrs she is unable to speak. The expression
in this video link below shows her there is another way to sing, even more beautiful from the heart… only using her
hands.

Murrieta Farmers Market & Crafts

Village Walk Plaza Shopping Center on Kalmia (Calif. Oaks Exit)
on the west side of the 15 Freeway about a half mile, turn
right at the signal. The new Murrieta Farmers
Market is being organized by the group that operates the large Saturday farmers market in Old Town Temecula, and will start with 15 certified California farmers, a dozen local artists and 10 food
vendors. I think this event is developing into
one of the best.

Winchester Swap Meet *
What a disappointment, I visited this hot, dusty, rural Winchester Swap Meet on Aug 14
2010
only to be turned away at the entrance
because I had my camera on a neck strap. The lady
in the entrance booth,
after taking my fifty cents, informs me that
no cameras were allowed.
All of my webpage photos are taken with permission of the individual vendors.
This is the first time I have come across a complete ban on cameras. Until
I get a response to the email I sent Winchester Swap Meet, I can only
speculate what the motive is behind their camera ban policy. Christopher
Visit at your own risk, they
could be strip searching people for cell phone cameras?
This is the valleys
very own original swap meet tucked away on the corner of the dusty
road that once lead to the Diamond Valley Look Out Point in
the Community of Winchester.

Anza Swap Meet
*
* I toured this swap meet August 7, 2010 and may have arrived a little late. It was 12:30 pm and
the small gathering had already half dismantled. It was a beautiful day and a
scenic drive
up hwy 371, it was around 80 degrees. At the swap meet I had hoped to photograph some of the
art or craft talent Anza has in the area but was unable too. Christopher
The Anza Swap Meet is held
rain or shine at the Anza Community Hall in the center of town,
take Highway 79 south out of Temecula to reach 371. Thank
you Julie C.

My goal today is documenting all of the locations
of local Swap Meets, Flea Markets, Farmer's Markets and
Art/Craft
Fairs etc. Say a distance of no than 30
minutes from the 15/215
south connection.
You are visiting
oldtemecula.com and this webpage is
also www.highway79.com.
In the future I would like to keep the present theme while
focusing on the cities that SR
79 highway passes through. It stretches just over 100 miles from
Julian to Beaumont. Highway 79 is the heart of Temecula Valley. Visit Wikipedia
Info on SR 79. The atomic number of Gold is 79 so our
Highway of Gold might also be called the "Yellow Brick
Road".
Please
help me add more info or report the bad!
